A first for Drone Class: DJI Dock

In August, the very first DJI Dock went live in the Netherlands. This advanced drone-in-a-box solution is now fully ready for use with us. The DJI Dock sets an impressive standard for remote flights.

DJI Dock

DJI Dock is a highly advanced, compact docking station with the industrial flagship DJI Matrice 30(T) on board. It is a dronebox, as the drone sits inside the box and is charged and protected there.

In brief, some specifications:

• Built to perform 24-hour missions
• Under challenging weather conditions (rain, wind force seven) and also in the dark
• Automated remote flights
• The Dock version of the DJI M30(T) features RTK and a C2 label
• The device delivers LIVE high definition RGB and thermal imaging recordings
• DJI FlightHub 2 lets you take full advantage of DJI Dock and the device

The DJI Dock is the drone-in-a-box system for remote flights in the business market. For short and slightly longer flights, with a range of up to seven kilometres.

Drone Class focus on BVLOS

The reason for acquiring a DJI Dock is that we want to be at the forefront of providing innovative solutions for companies and organisations. Within the Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) market, the drone-in-a-box is becoming a key player. Not to be missed as a tool in seaports, business areas and industrial zones, above energy parks and at many other types of infrastructure, for example, that require frequent inspection. In its Dutch training courses, Drone Class brings together practical application and safe operation.

The DJI Dock is delivered, installed and maintained in the Benelux by DroneLand from Almere, the largest DJI Enterprise dealer in the Benelux. They are specially trained by DJI to do the complete installation and maintenance of the DJI Dock in the right way.
