Do you want to start flying at as many locations as possible in Europe, learn everything in one go and experience as few restrictions as possible when you take to the air?
With the EU Drone Licence bundle, you will simultaneously learn everything from the Basic certificate A1-A3 and the Additional certificate A2 . You will work through both modules at your own pace. Illustrations and texts help you absorb the information in an accessible and fun way. When you are ready to take the exam, you can schedule it yourself. After completing this course, you will be aware of air safety and regulations, among other things, and you will know how to plan a flight properly. This way, you can start flying as soon as possible with as few restrictions as possible!

You will receive a free reference book with the drone rules to keep.
Any drone pilot who flies drones of 250 grams and over and who also wants to operate in built-up areas (max. 2 kilos) in the open category. With the EU Drone License, you can fly in the EU, Switzerland, Iceland and Norway.
In order to obtain each certificate, you will spend about six to ten hours. The duration also depends on your prior knowledge and the learning pace.
The bundle of the basic certificate A1-A3 and the supplementary certificate A2 together costs 199 euros (incl. VAT). Of course, this includes both exams. Application costs are 20 euros per certificate and you pay this amount to us after passing the exam.
The A1-A3 exam is online and you make it independently in Online Learning.
There are no requirements in terms of prior knowledge. You also do not need to follow practical training and an exam. Our training is accessible to beginners and does not contain any superfluous knowledge.
Each certificate is valid for five years. You can renew any certificate in five years. Your certificate is issued by the The Netherlands. The minimum age to be allowed to apply for the European drone license is 16 years in the Netherlands.
You have a total of 30 days of access to Online Learning.

To be allowed to fly in built-up areas with drones from 500 grams to 2 kilos in the open category. You first obtain the basic certificate A1-A3.
The Basic certificate A1-A3 exam consists of 40 multiple-choice questions with a 60 minutes time limit. For the Additional certificate A2 exam, you complete 30 multiple-choice questions in 30 minutes. You take each exam online.
As soon as you start the training, the subscription period of 30 days starts. Within this subscription period, it is possible to retake the exam indefinitely for free. This applies to both certificates.
We hear from many customers that they managed to obtain both certificates in a few afternoons. If you don't procrastinate your training (too much), the 30-day access period is more than enough to pass.
If it is not possible to obtain both certificates within 30 days, please explain it to us and we will be happy to help you as a satisfied customer.
The Dutch authority needs seven working days on average to process your application.
Please ensure that you can take the online A2 exam on a computer with the Chrome or Firefox browser. A web camera is required.
