Why choose a DJI drone?

DJI drones are high quality and have excellent flight performance. There is a suitable device on the market for every pilot to start with or upgrade to.

DJI Mini 5 Pro

The DJI Mini series is known for its light weight, foldable design and small size. The DJI Mini 5 Pro has also been designed with these features in mind. Weighing 249 grams, the drone is very light and easy to transport.

What makes the DJI Mini 5 Pro relevant for (novice) drone enthusiasts:

  • 1" sensor with max. video quality of 4K/120 fps
  • Med-Tele Mode (48 mm)
  • Vertical recording through gimbal rotation

The DJI Mini 5 Pro is a great way to gain experience flying a drone and shooting images for your own use. The device does not have the best flight characteristics, but it can handle a little wind. For more stability and lenses, read on.

DJI Air 3S

The DJI Air 3S builds on the strengths of the Air 3, but offers some interesting improvements:

  • Main camera (50 megapixels)
  • Zoom lens (70 mm equivalent)
  • Obstacle sensors (and LIDAR detection at the front)
  • DJI RC Track (tracking beacon)

This device performs well in the air when there is more wind. It also has a lens, which is missing on the DJI Mini 5 Pro, for example. With the DJI Air 3S, you can take professional shots, yet it is not the most expensive drone to purchase.

DJI Mavic 4 Pro

The DJI Mavic 4 Pro immediately stands out with its triple camera module. The main camera is a Hasselblad (100 MP), flanked by two telephoto lenses. This provides unrivalled photo and video capabilities.

The drone is equipped with a revolutionary 360° gimbal called the Infinity Gimbal. This gimbal can rotate independently of the drone, offering completely new shooting possibilities. In practice, this means that the camera can roll/rotate completely – you can use a dial on the controller to rotate the camera direction horizontally 360 degrees, regardless of the position of the drone. This device is currently DJI's flagship among compact devices.

DJI Avata 2

Want to try a different way of flying?

This is the third generation of ready-to-fly FPV drones. FPV stands for first person view. The DJI Avata 2 is equipped with a 1/1.3-inch CMOS video sensor and can record in 4k/60fps. With this larger sensor, the camera can capture more light, making your images sharper and more detailed. The 10-bit D-Log M colour profile gives you more options when editing images.

The images from the DJI Avata 2 are stabilised with RockSteady 3.0+ and Horizon Steady. This software ensures smooth, stabilised recordings, even at high speeds.
